Nature Photonics interviews B-Phot chairman Hugo Thienpont on micro-optics industrial innovation in Europe.

In an interview with the prestigious journal “Nature Photonics” Hugo Thienpont explains the basic mechanisms of the new subsidy model that the European consortium ACTMOST (Access Center to Micro-Optics Expertise, Services, and Technologies) is currently testing to lower the technology barriers for companies and to accelerate product innovation with photonic technologies in Europe. This initiative, coordinated by B-PHOT, is financially supported by the European Commission.
