Royal visit for B-PHOT

Prince Philippe of Belgium, EU Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes and Brussels Minister for Research Benoît Cerexhe visit the B-PHOT exhibition booth at the ICT 2010 fair organized by the European Commission at Brussels Expo. Prof. Berghmans explains how B-PHOT works with industry and is involved in EU funded programmes. Mrs. Kroes appreciated how B-PHOT lowers the innovation barrier for SMEs in the domain of micro-optics through the ACMOST project  and how it fosters technology-awakening of European students with Photonics Explorer .
