Students impress with nanometer accuracy

Around 100 students participated in the Photonics Explorer "lab-skills competition" at the ICT 2010 conference in Brussels - and achieved really impressive results.

Successful experiments and accurate measurements require creativity, ingenuity, patience, fingerspitzengefühl, and - last but not least - luck. That is what students experienced when they were confronted with the measurement challenges at the Photonics Explorer lab-skills competition.
