Abstract Activation cross sections for deuteron-induced reactions on natural copper were measured by using a standard stacked foil technique up to 50 MeV deuteron bombarding energy. Reaction products with half-life longer than half an hour were studied. Experimental elemental cross sections were determined and compared with earlier measured data for Zn-62.63.65, Cu-64, Ni-57.65, Co-57.58.60 and Fe-59 isotopes. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
