Abstract Experimental cross-sections are presented for the first time for the Tb-159(d,xn)Dy-155,Dy-157,Dy-159, Tb-155,Tb-156,Tb-160 and Gd-153 nuclear reactions up to 50 MeV. The experimental data are compared with theoretical predictions of the ALICE-D, EMPIRE-D and TALYS nuclear reaction codes. Integral thick-target yields are also derived for the reaction products that have practical applications. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
