Artem Shcheglov (20-10-1993) is a PhD student and an ESR at xCLASS Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network. He holds an M.Sc. in optical systems and communication networks from the ITMO University (St. Petersburg, Russia). Prior to joining B-PHOT, he worked in the experimental production of polarization-maintaining fibers which are used in the optical fiber gyroscopes systems. At B-PHOT, Artem works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heidi Ottevaere. His research covers the development of the miniaturized optical spectrometer system as well as the design and replication of diffractive optical elements.
