Robert Pawlus
Robert Pawlus worked on tailoring multi-wavelength emission in semiconductor lasers as a post-doc researcher at B-PHOT until 2021. He started his career by following a vocational training as an energy electronics engineer from 2001 till 2004 while simultaneously working as an engineering trainee at the company Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. He was then hired by the same company as an engineer. In 2008, he decided to go back to studying and earned his university entrance diploma in 2009. He then studied Physics at the Technische Universität Darmstadt and received his Master of Science in Physics with a focus on optics in 2016. He then seized the opportunity to pursue a PhD thesis and joined B-PHOT. In 2020, he completed his PhD on integrated dual-wavelength lasers.
Robert is currently working as an R&D Scientist at Agilent Technologies.
