Industry 4.0

B-PHOT is a core research group associated with the Industry 4.0 driven strategic research centre Flanders Make. As a core lab of Flanders Make, B-PHOT has been engaged in several innovation projects in the framework of Industry 4.0 . For example, B-PHOT introduced optical sensors to monitor production lines and to enable more efficient maintenance planning for infrastructure and machines, in collaboration with companies like Eriks and Picanol.
