B-PHOT Hosts Free Online Introductory Course in Photonics Innovation

B-PHOT will host an online introductory training course on photonics innovation on 24 September 2025. Join this exciting two hour training from PhotonHub Europe to understand how photonics technologies can be innovatively applied to your industry!

The B-PHOT team will provide an interesting programme to give a comprehensive overview of photonics technologies, with a focus on photonic applications and how photonics can benefit your business. After an introduction by PhotonHub coordinator and B-PHOT Director Hugo Thienpont, Prof. Nathalie Vermeulen will introduce you to the principles of Photonics. Prof. Jürgen Van Erps shares B-PHOT's specialisation areas and Prof. Lien Smeesters will elaborate on PhotonHub's Support Activities.

Discover the wide range of technical and business support measures provided by PhotonHub Europe and other photonic initiatives in the European ecosystem. This online training also provides an open forum for attendees to ask specific questions to experts in the field of photonic technologies and a wide range of application areas.

This online training course is free of charge but requires attendees to register in advance of attending their selected course.
