Photonics Networking Event 2023: Building bridges between academia and industry
Last Wednesday, Vrije Universiteit Brussel hosted the annual Photonics Networking Event of the Master of Science in Photonics Engineering. Our students gathered at the VUB Main Campus to connect with industry leaders and to follow some interesting workshops on CV writing and creative thinking.
B-PHOT emphasises the importance of a strong link between industry and academia and aims to be the connection between students and experts! With our Master of Science in Photonics Engineering, our research group attempts to contribute to the continuous growth of the photonics sector. By organising networking events such as these, we hope to give students the necessary confidence and background to start their careers, while enhancing the theoretical and practical skills they learn during the two-year master's programme at VUB or UGent.
