Fabian Duerr

Fabian Duerr graduated with a degree in Physics in 2008 from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and received his PhD in 2013 at the Applied Physics and Photonics Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Since 2013, he is a post-doctoral research fellow of the Research Foundation - Flanders FWO. Since 2016, he is a research professor, responsible for an optical design group that explores and designs freeform optics solutions for LED-lighting, laser materials processing and novel imaging systems.
