Koen Vanmol

Dr. Koen Vanmol (17-03-1993) is a post-doctoral researcher within the Brussels Photonics (B-PHOT) research group of the Department of Applied Physics and Photonics (TONA) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). After receiving his interuniversity Master of Science degree in Photonics Engineering in 2016, from Ghent University and VUB, Koen obtained his PhD in 2021 on the topic of two-photon polymerization-based 3D nanoprinting for optical interconnects and lab-on-chip applications. His main professional interests include the full design-fabrication-characterization cycle of optical components, with a particular focus on fiber optic applications and laser micro-fabrication technologies.
