Qing Liu
Dr. Ir. Qing Liu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research focuses on optofluidics, micro- and nano-optical systems, micro- and nanofabrication technologies, freeform optics, and optical sensing and lighting technologies. His work combines optical design, microfabrication, and system integration to develop compact optical systems for applications in sensing, spectroscopy, diagnostics, and advanced lighting.
Qing received his B.S. degree in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Beihang University, China, in 2012, and obtained his master's degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2018, he obtained a master's degree in Management from the Solvay Business School of VUB.
