Sara Abbasi

Sara Abbasi (15/01/1995) is a PhD candidate at B-PHOT, working under the supervision of Prof. Heidi Ottevaere. Her research focuses on the development of an optofluidic device for Raman imaging to aid in diabetes diagnosis. Sara obtained her bachelor's degree in physics, specializing in optics and lasers, from Shiraz University. She graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome as a Nanotechnology Engineer, and since July 2021 she has joined B-PHOT.
