Sergei Mikhailov

Sergei Mikhailov (02/09/1992) is a post-doc researcher at B-PHOT and an Early Stage Researcher in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network FINESSE. He obtained his M.Sc. in Technical Physics in 2016 at SPbPU (St. Petersburg, Russia). At B-PHOT, Sergei obtained his PhD in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Francis Berghmans, Prof. Thomas Geernaert and Prof. Tigran Baghdasaryan. His research is focused on developing photonic crystal fibers for distributed pressure sensing.
