Shahab Abdollahi

Mohammadshahab Abdollahi (15-12-1991, Iran) is a psot-doc researcher at B-PHOT. He is currently working on an ERC project entitled ‘COLOR’UP’. The goal of the COLOR’UP project is to investigate how multi-color lasers can be used to process optical signals at ultra-high frequencies; ranging from 100 to 300 GHz which is a promising candidate to go beyond the 5G technology.

Shahab obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees both in Electrical engineering from Iran. He has had extensive experience in the design, modulation, and characterization of optical devices during his MSc. He started his PhD at B-PHOT on 15 May 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Martin Virte.
