Ing. Tine De Pauw (°04/04/1988 – †11/11/2024) was an outreach officer at Brussels Photonics B-PHOT, the photonics research group at VUB, since 2014. She focused, among other things, on the realization of the ‘Science Show’ at VUB, the organization of the B-Photonics Challenger Cup, the Photonics Explorer program, and a wide variety of workshops for teachers and students. She was actively involved in several European outreach projects.

Tine passed away on 11 November 2024, surrounded by her family. In line with her wish to remain meaningful after her passing, she chose to donate her body to the Vrije Universiteit Brussel for educational and scientific purposes.
