Yuxiang Cui

Yuxiang Cui has been working at VUB B-PHOT since October 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Yunfeng Nie. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Dalian University of Technology, an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow, and a Master of Photonics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
His research focuses on hyperspectral imaging and its applications, including food and environmental sensing, with a particular emphasis on the detection of microplastics in soil.
